What a great spot!! Docks were nice, staff is great, the museum which is included in your dock fee is very nicely done. This will be a stop both north and south from now on! Oh and the town could not be nicer.

Great stop! Jim was amazing and very helpful typing up. Told us all about the wonderful town of Kingston and the museum is a must for local maritime history. Lots of places to walk our dog too! We would stay there again.

Great location- a fun place to say. Jim the Dockmaster is very helpful and even gave us a tour of the museum. Savonas was our favorite… especially during happy hour with food and drink specials.

Tall floating docks make tying up and boarding easy. A nice slice of river history at the museum. Well worth a couple of nights while traveling the Hudson.

Fun stay! Nicely protected dockage. Short walk to restaurants and bars. Museum is great although we weren’t able to visit this time due to somewhat limited hours. Recommend this as a nice stop off.

Quiet place. A great place to walk, go to restaurant, etc. Good installation (big and clean shower, potable water, etc). Good service by the Dock master.

Dockmaster Jim was very helpful and accommodating at our arrival, bathroom and shower facilities are very modern and clean. Always lots of interesting activities going on on their waterfront, and in the museum, so is a great place for boaters to relax and enjoy, and is only a short walk to great restaurants.

Sept 2025 Update: Another great stay! The staff is always helpful and friendly. The Ole Savannah restaurant has been updated and is now called The Cornelle. We tried it out and it was so good with many excellent menu choices that we went back a second time! Always a highly recommended stop!
Great marina. Good docks. Friendly staff. Very nice showers! Lots to do in town, including the Maritime Museum, Trolley Museum, Catskill Railroad, shopping, and restaurants.
Far enough from the bridge being sandblasted that there is minimal noise.

Great dockage. Head and shower facility was great. Nice small waterfront town. Half Moon cafe is not to be missed for breakfast. Great sandwiches, pastry, and made to order donuts.

About Hudson River Maritime Museum
Dock and visit the historic Rondout waterfront, where history meets hospitality. Located in close proximity to the Hudson River, just before the bridges over the Rondout Creek, we have no height limit and deep draft, 16 feet.
Take the opportunity to tour the museum and the waterfront’s excellent shops and historic places, including the Trolley Museum, the Reher Center for Immigrant Culture and History, or take our solar powered tour boat to the Rondout Lighthouse. Walk to numerous antique shops, art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops and fine dining.
Overnight Docking Fees:
$3.00 per foot per night: private vessels under 50 feet in length * includes admission to the museum for all passengers during time of stay *
$4.00 per foot per night: private vessels under 50 feet in length to 80 feet in length * includes admission to the museum for all passengers during time of stay *
$6.00 per foot per night: vessels over 80 feet in length & commercial vessels * includes admission to the museum for all passengers during time of stay *
Overnight Docking Fees Include: 30 and 50 amp electric service, fresh water hookup, wireless internet, showers and bathrooms & trash disposal.
All dock proceeds benefit our nonprofit organization.
*Boat length is the overall length of a vessel including bow sprits and swim platforms.
***Any vessel doing work while at our dock including hiring shipwrights, use of cranes, use of heavy machinery and hiring of divers, must obtain permission from the museum beforehand. Any vessel planning to take on fuel or pump out must notify the dockmaster beforehand & use an approved contractor.
