Southern hospitality at its finest. Super helpful dock staff, useful information sent when reservation confirmed, free bikes and laundry, and surprise banana bread left on board. Cute town, volunteers to take you places if needed. Will definitely be on our list of places to visit again for a longer stay!

We stayed here for 9 nights and it was great in every way. Nice new dock. Great location within an easy walk to town and parks. Free loaner bike and free laundry. And, great staff.

Very well run marina. Excellent communication, even before we arrived. They txted an overhead pic of the marina with our slip outlined, along with tons of info about the city. Docks are very nice and new, floating concrete type. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even gave us a golf cart tour of the city. And the view in the morning was beautiful! Oh, and free laundry. Did I mention they gave us a loaf of banana bread? Only downside is bathrooms and showers are old, but still, kept very clean. Current goes pretty good through there, recommend coming in at slack tide if possible. Overall, definitely recommend this marina.

This is among the most impeccably run marinas I’ve encountered in sailing full time for seven years. Colin is a pro, the setting is idyllic, the locals are kind, altogether perfect.

Colin and Tristin were awesome! The St. Mary’s Marina amenities were very nice, and the town itself was great. Overall, we had a really good experience and would definitely recommend stopping here.
Always love coming here, brought some boat friends too. Highly recommend booking here with Colin.

We had a fantastic stay at St. Marys Intracoastal Gateway Marina. The staff was welcoming, the docks were peaceful and well‑kept, and the whole town was easy to explore on our scooters. We enjoyed a great local restaurant, met two wonderful boating families with children, and even spent time together at Kraken Coffee — a perfect spot with games for the kids and great conversations for the adults. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary ride to Publix to pick up a prescription, which made everything incredibly convenient. A charming, friendly stop along the ICW that we’d happily return to. We hope to find other small towns just like St. Mary's along the way on our trip north.

Fantastic marina and really enjoyed the town. Colin and Tristen were fantastic. Colin assisted my girlfriend with getting her transportation to the airport after her brother passed away unexpectedly. Tristen even carried down to my boat a new starter that I had overnighted, and it was heavy. Enjoyed the submarine museum, and great restaurants with some of the most affordable food and drinks I've come across. I will be stopping in again on my way south this Fall.

St. Marys Intracoastal Gateway Marina is simply outstanding! Colin Redy, the Dockmaster, and his team were amazing. Great communication made our arrival effortless. Dockhands Michael and Tristan were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The marina is beautiful, well-kept, and in such a charming town – you can walk everywhere! Big thanks to our friends Tori and Tony on T&T’s Adventure for the recommendation. We wouldn’t pass through this area without stopping again!

Fantastic service from Colin, super clean marina with complimentary laundry, water and pumpout. Super cute little town with tons of history. Several places to grab a meal and shop just steps away from the marina. Don't miss this stop.

We docked there for a week while traveling elsewhere. Great staff, great dock and facilities. Town is brief walk from dock and quite nice. No problem with our 6.5’ draft. Shallowest we saw was 5’ under the keel at low tide. There is a car service to get to JAX to fly, and rides into town if needed. Mind the current when docking perpendicular to the river flow. No big deal.

Colin the harbormaster did a great job accommodating us on short notice. The town of St. Mary's has easy deep water access directly from the Atlantic, worth a stop.

Great Marina! Staff was exceptional. Offered to show us around the town on their golf cart, delivered packages directly to our boat, was very accommodating with slip assignment. Gave great suggestions on places to see and where to eat. Free laundry! We feel like we found a hidden gem that probably won't be hidden for long.

Great dock slip rental! The marina was clean, felt very safe, and was incredibly convenient for us since we live just a block away. Everything was well maintained and made for an easy, stress-free weekend stay.

Our first time staying at St Mary's and we will definitely be back. Tristan was very helpful with docking, especially as we had wind and current behind us. Colin gave us lots of information about town, including restaurant specials, which were greatly appreciated. Nice boaters lounge,and FREE laundry! You can get Publix and Walmart deliveries right to the marina. The town of St Mary's was an easy walk from the marina.

Wonderful Marina & quaint town! Colin Redy, general manager of St. Mary’s Intracoastal Gateway Marina had a friendly, welcoming attitude; he helped us get situated on the concrete floating docks. The next morning, his staff was courteous, recommended a breakfast spot, and helped us off the dock when it was time to head out. We appreciate the hospitality, and highly recommend a stop at St. Mary’s.

St Marys Intracoastal Gateway Marina is located in the heart of historical downtown St Marys, Georgia. Steps away from museums, salons, shops and restaurants that offer marina customers an exclusive 10% discount off their meals. It is the gateway to Cumberland Island National Seashore, a pristine wilderness of beaches and wildlife. Deep Water inlet, no bridges and easy access from the ICW. We offer 30 and 50-amp service. Dinghy Dock *$5.00 per day / $30.00 per week , Amenities Access: Add $20.00 per day / $100.00 per week (Amenities available 8-5pm) *Vessels less than 12 feet only. Permit for dinghy with Amenities Access grants the permit holder to the secured restrooms, showers, laundry and lounge. Cash only. Must check in and pay at the Marina office.
Day trip / hourly reservation please indicate your estimated arrival and departure time in the "Special Request" field on your request. A $20 flat rate will be charged for day trips, with a maximum stay of 4 hours.
