River House Marina

Nice peaceful location on the river close to locks. Best if you have a self sufficient boat i.e. heads and shower.

This is a niced marina with attentive help. We had some electrical hook-up problems and they were taken care of . The pool is nice, and we had dinner st the Order of Eagles as guest of the marina. They are not a lot of food options at Moore Haven!

Great place to tie up while transiting across Florida. A bit cheaper than Rowland Martin. Easy side tie, good security, clean bathroom and a swimming pool. The Dockmaster was very informative and even gave us a recommendation to eat dinner at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles lodge just down the street. We did that and had a great time.

Fantastic owners, so helpful. I’m solo so it’s always a welcome site to have someone to catch my lines. I ate at the local Eagles which was nice at a very reasonable price. The river was quiet and I got a great nights rest. Crossed Lake Okeechobee the next day which worked great. I highly recommend!

River House Marina is a well maintained, convenient, side tie fixed dock, with power and water. The dock is secure. Only a restroom/shower which is far outdated, but tidy. (A pool too). The absolute best thing about this stay is Kim and Allen, the couple who run the marina make it the best it can be, given what they have to work with. This couple offers true Southern hospitality and are very knowledgeable and helpful regarding the local waterways.

Easy access, right on the river. they were extremely accommodating considering this was a last-minute request due to lock timing!

Very nice and convenient

Allen & Kim were excellent hosts! They helped w/ lines, made suggestions about where to go for dinner, helped boaters get to a local rodeo & took the time to visit w/ everyone at the marina. Our stay was quiet & relaxing. We would definitely return! - Afternoon Cruise

I can't say enough good things about dock masters Alan & Kim. They go over and beyond the call of duty to make your stay enjoyable. They make the place an A+++++ stay!!

The owners was very helpful

A small but extremely friendly and secure marina! The docks run parallel th the river and are easy in and easy out. They also lie within the no wake zone of Moore Haven. Dock master Allen and his wife Kim run a great business, first to assist with lines and docking and local info. And the local Eagles Club offers dinners to non-member patrons of the marina. Very small local town with friendly people, an efficient and convenient marina, and a worthy stop on your travels on the Okeechobee waterway. Capt Gary and Belinda Frost

Nice, idealy located for stop over, easy docking with security gate. Calm waters.

Clean docks with good services - water/electric. our gate code did not work and I have a suggestion. For safety sakes allow free access OFF the dock and keep the coded gate for access ONTO the docks. I could not get out until someone came in - then only to find the west gate was taped OPEN all the time. Also for the town...........we found a very weak and struggling kitten that had fallen off the ledge on the grass side, and into the water. It was struggling to stay afloat and surely would have drowned if I had not (with the help of fellow boaters at the dock - saved the kitten. With walls like that along the river I would really suggest that the town put ladders every 50 or 70 feet along that wall. There is a REAL safety issue there if anyone fell into the canal - they would very possibly NOT be able to get out!! Thanks for the stay.......PS I found a very grateful woman who took in the little black kitten as I was not about to leave that little cat on the lawn by itself. Thank you Kim!!
