Great access to the city and the Manhattan views are spectacular. Very rough though until 9pm starting from about 7 in the morning. Amenities are getting better but at the moment still rough. The dock crew was great and they were happy to help in any way possible.

It sucked. Price was $750 for one night and waves were horrible, Don’t know how arrogant hedge fund thinks they can raise rates by 50% and keep customers. I saw three transients in entire marina and my boat was damaged against dock in spite of diligent tie up. Very empty and it should be.

Great marina with a wonderful location. We always enjoy our stays. Additionally it’s appreciated that there is even g and early morning coverage. So much easier with help to release lines.

Location in Brooklyn Heights near lots of restaurants, stores, bars, etc., is extraordinary. Waterfront is well developed and beautiful. Great marina. Nice staff. But be aware: The wakes caused by heavy commercial ferry traffic in NY Harbor are large bordering on severe. So, double up the dock lines on your boat and be ready for lots of rolling until after 10pm.

Although a bit bumpy at times due to marine traffic, it was comfortable. Marina manager John and night dockmaster Ian were amazing. They stayed late to help us tie up and were very courteous and helpful…they were absolutely awesome.. we look forward to the next time!

As you can imagine, the view is spectacular. However, it was very expensive and I expected a little bit more for my money. I left my boat there for two nights. One night the winds were blowing 25+ and one of my fenders popped. No one contacted me or even noticed. The result was the side of my boat got scratched. For the money I paid. I would expect them to check the boat regularly during high winds.

There is nothing like being in Brooklyn heights. The view of Manhattan, the river traffic, the restaurants, the brownstones, the parks and the people. Everyone is moving, everyone is busy. Transportation to anywhere you want to go in the city is easy.
The marina is new and the crew was outstanding. If you would like to experience the big city and for a short time feel like you are part of it I would recommend the Brooklyn bridge marina.

This is our third visit this sailing season. We love sailing our boat there, on our way to the Sound of just for the fun of the location! The staff is so attentive and helpful, the new bathroom facilities just great, and the floating bar a great addition too! All this on top of the best waterfront view of Manhattan and steps to Brooklyn’s fantastic, park-filled waterfront. Yes, the docks can be rocking - but we are boaters, and the lower harbor can be like that. Brooklyn Bridge Marina still always still feels like a refuge. Our sailing family favorite.

Great service, awesome view, a bit bumpy during the day when the ferries are running. Definitely try out the Concrete Reef bar!

Docks were clean. Surge is still an issue from 6am to 7pm. After that it isn’t! WILL and the staff were extremely helpful with any questions or needs. Nice stopping point for a few days whether your going north or south

Top notch service. I arrived extremely late after some mechanical issues. Staff stayed around and were helpful docking and explaining the marina

Great team- Will and Cara! Was able to mitigate the rollers by strategically tying 6-8 lines with 6 bumpers. Wakes die down late evening for a very comfortable sleep aboard experience.

We have come to love this marina. They are under new ownership, and even the addition of bathrooms on the dock make this marina better. Some complain about how much roll you experience while berthed. While that is true, there isn’t much the marina can do about it. The East River is very busy, so you take the bad with the good. Being close to the NYC Ferry system is very convenient. We will be back, and it may become our “go-to” when visiting NYC.

Great experience for our short trip to Brooklyn and Manhattan. Amazing view of financial district from across East Riverand marina is sited among a series of Brooklyn waterfront parks and you can walk to an abundance of restaurants, shops, transit, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, although like everyone in NYC they don't start work until 9 a.m. The marina is undergoing some upgrades under its new owners but has already has the basics for you and your boat. The reviews are true about your boat moving around a lot when tied to the undulating dock system, but we adjusted lines to make it tolerable and it calms down a lot in the evening. We would stay here again in a heartbeat...check it out!!!
