The start of the 2025 season saw Harbor under same ownership, but new management. Unchanged our dock neighbors are still fabulous, sunrises are beautiful matched only by the sunsets and we stayed for our tenth season. However, with this year’s opening the facilities were in terrible condition, a legacy of the previous administration exacerbated by really bad winter storms and poor spring weather. But by the end of the season the new crew had turned things around; there was fresh paint, shortcomings repaired, a couple new things and a hospitality attitude focused on their boating clients. The new attitude was exemplified not only by the physical improvements, but also by the level of service that was provided throughout the season.

Very accommodating and appreciated being tied up in E15. Cheers!

Great town and wonderful marina. Respect the current from the river and entry is easy. Nice folks and facility. Great bike and walking trail!

Very friendly and competent staff. Docks are nice. We loved the town and were able to walk to playground, green space, and restaurants. Highly recommend!

We had a great time here! It's an easy walk into town, lots of restaurants and shops. The marina itself was very clean, docks were in great shape. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful.

Thank you to Billy and all of the staff there. They were extremely friendly and helpful to us. The Merrimack River current is very strong but they made sure we got in safely. The dock and facilities are also excellent.

Good docking facilities, helpful staff and easy walk into center of Newburyport.

Newburyport is always a great stop and Billy Nolan and his dock crew make us feel like family. I can’t give him enough praises for all he does for us each time we visit.

This is a great marina conveniently located in a great town. The staff is very professional and made our entire group of 8 boats happy and welcomed. The current is swift on the ebb tide but the staff were on the docks to catch lines and assist. Once ashore there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop. So many other things to do. Great port as a destination or as a stop on a longer passage.

The staff at this marina were super nice. My negative experience at this marina was really no fault of the marina. Out boat was run into and a boat pulled up directly next to mine after midnight and proceeded to party with loud music until 4am. The current runs extremely fast through this marina. I feel like if I had gone up the river further the current wouldn't have been so bad. It's important when possible to enter/exit this area during slack tide for your boats safety and others.
