Great dock hands and office help. Friendly. It's good to see the dredging in process. Construction site for the new restaurant gets a bit noisy and dusty. Some repairs and maintenance is needed on floating docks. From the looks , it appears all those repairs are in process. much more good then inconvenient

They removed the swimming pool, have not completed dredging for over a year. Great dock folks, poor marina management. And annual price increases without completing promised projects.

The staff is great. Winward stinks. The marina is full of silt; dredging has been promised since they bought it. My vessel is in mud at low tide, try to dock at low tide in the mud? The bathrooms are clean. The docks are in pretty good shape except for the old A dock. Hopefully the new owners, Suntex, will dredge completely. For the last 2 years Winward has raised the dockage $2 a foot each year - usurious and greedy. I bet they did not raise the comp of the staff by that percentage.

Very well run Marina. It was protected from wake and ICW influences. Convenient for service providers to access your vessel. First Mate Services was relocating off property and still was able to schedule me for full engine service. Appreciate the free Uber service that they include with your dockage in immediate area. Good to provision and site see.
Older facility but extremely well run and clean. Entire staff acted like they appreciated my business and handled dock lines with great expertise. Would recommend them without reservation for others transiting this area.

We only intended to stay for a couple days, but due to repairs we needed to stay well over a month. The staff were all wonderful as our repairs issues unfolded. They were able to change our rate from daily to monthly and accommodated numerous changes. Simple stellar in all ways!!

I’ve stayed here several times on trips to and from Fla from NJ. We ran into bad weather heading South and was going to cut trip short and stay further North. The marina would not cancel my stay with a refund , no show still pay full price paid. So we pushed through and got there late. Once there found out no fuel after 5pm (had to fuel at Municipal Marina who agreed to wait for us) then no restaurant there anymore. First time travling this time of year when the Marina would not cancel and refund when not going to make it there.
I will not stay here ever again

When we spoke by phone, we reviewed our 48-hour cancellation policy, which applies to all reservations and was the reason we were unable to issue a refund for a same-day cancellation. We also confirmed that a late arrival was completely fine and that we could fuel your vessel first thing the next morning at 7:00 AM.
For clarity, our fuel dock is open every day until 6:00 PM, and we always do our best to accommodate boaters arriving near closing time.

The Cove is a fully protected marina adjacent to the ICW, and less than a mile from the St. Augustine Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean.
Come browse our shops or dine in our restaurants, charter a boat or book a room and stay a few days.
All the shop owners and employees at Camachee Island are here for one primary purpose—to serve the boater. If we can do that, we know you will come back again to make this your permanent mooring or a regular stopover, and pass the word to other boaters.
