The PERFECT dock right in the middle of the town of St Michael’s! So many restaurants and shops and a great walking trail. Friendly staff. No laundry….but bathrooms and showers were nice. Easy docking for our 50’ motor vessel with 5’ draft.

Wonderful experience! Great staff, friendly folks, clean facilities. Would be a great place to meet friends as they also have an inn on site. Easy walking distance to town and the museum. 2 restrooms with private showers. No laundry. Will certainly stay again when I'm the area!

Two dockhands came down to help us with our lines. The marina was conveniently located within easy walking distance of town and all of its attractions: the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, restaurants, shops, lovely residential side streets. The restrooms and showers at Higgins were very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay there and would gladly stay there again.

Great basic marina walking distance to the center of St. Michaels and most attractions. Decent WiFi. Clean basic showers / rest rooms. Helpful staff. I love the "boat yard" feel and watching boats being worked on. Definitely an old school boat yard that adds to the total experience. I go there every time I sail to St. Michaels.

Higgins is always a nice quiet place to stay in the middle of a great town. Beautiful views of the bay. One of our go to spots in spring and fall.

I recently docked at Higgins Yacht Yard and had a fantastic experience. The facilities are in good condition and very well maintained, with clean bathrooms that make a big difference during a stay. The staff provided outstanding customer service—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Another huge plus is the location; it’s just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and everything you might need. Overall, a top-notch marina that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and great service.

Our first stay at Higgins, and we are pleasantly surprised. The facilities are in nice condition. The dockhand was timely, polite, and professional. We normally stay at the CBMM (requires a membership), but thought we'd try something new. CBMM can be noisy and crowded due to catered events (frequent weddings). Higgins is quiet, very sheltered, and even closer to downtown.

Being the closest marina in St. Michaels to town - just footsteps away from Talbot Street - and within walking distance to everywhere, our slips fill up quickly!
We are the only full-service boat yard and marina in town, and are able to offer the most convenient location, and a picturesque view of the St. Michaels Harbor. With over 50 slips, we have transient, seasonal, and annual dockage, and can accommodate vessels up to 100 feet. Each of our slips include city water and electric hook-up.
