A wonderful staff, and very nice facilities. Walking distance to town. They were so accommodating, especially when the weather turn put us leaving a lot later than expected. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice Marina and restaurant. Walking distance to downtown Portsmouth, Ferry across Elizabeth River to Norfolk Waterside. Katy, Kaitland and Hanna are great. Good cookies too.

My only complaint was the lack of privacy in the shower area.
They have a great pumpout.
Restaurant food was good but the service was lacking.

We had a great one night stay. Easy in and out for transients. Floating docks. Good communication. Walked our pup around the seaside boardwalk and Olde Portsmouth. Restaurant Fish and Slips was above average - try the Crab Balls! Didn’t require fuel or pump out so can’t rate those services.

At this time, our diesel fuel lines are down for maintenance. However, gasoline remains available for fueling. Arrived after hours, but staff made sure we knew what slip we were going in. Easy approach, and the restaurant on site is decent!

Amazing location, lots to see, really good restaurant right there and the dock hands and staff were helpful and friendly! A must stop. Grab a golf cart and go to the historic town.

Nice marina. Well kept. Great communication when coming in guiding us to our slip and great help docking. Staff is very nice and gives you a nice folder with information in the area as well as cookies. Clean bathrooms/showers. Did not use laundry so cannot comment. Easy in/out access. Long walk from F Dock for the pups, but once there across the parking lot either direction is good green space and good places to walk the dogs. Old Towne is a block away and has beautiful homes. The ferry is very close if you want to cross over into Norfolk. Nice stay.

Dock staff and dock master super friendly. Well maintained floating docks. Portsmouth has excellent restaurants. Try Detroit style pizza at High Street Pizza.

Just a quick stay, but very helpful and accommodating staff. Nice facility! this is my fourth time at Tidewater and I will continue to stop here up and down the coast seasonally.

This was our second stay at Tidewater. Absolutely wonderful staff. Nice floating docks. Laundry room clean and spacious, with well functioning dryers. $3/to wash or dry per load. Numerous historical sites, restaurants and shops within walking distance and Olde Towne Portsmouth right there. Restaurant on site is quite good. Will stay again!!

Rick and crew did a nice job helping me to dock with no crew onboard in a windy situation. Facilities are nice and the restaurant was good with nice staff. Sunday's special had wings and oysters for $1/each. Nice. Don't be misled by their "marine store" however; it is really just a T-shirt shop.

Nice rest room and showers. The docks are in good repair. The marina seems to be short of staff. But our visit was early in the season. There a Captains Lounge, but they closed it at o'clock. Not very useful with those hours.

Dockhand Rick was great getting us in and secure in 20+ kt conditions. Also, nice “Sips and Dlips” restaurant out on the docks with very good food and drink.

We always stop here on our way north or south. The dock staff is friendly and there is a great little restaurant called Fish and Slips that has one of the best burgers anywhere! Try the Northerner burger, you won’t be sorry.
