Dutch Harbor is a favorite with us! Bringing our newly purchased Beneteau down from MA to our CT mooring base, it was a must stop on the itinerary. The launch drivers are great, helpful with advice. The bathrooms are very nice too with laundry facilities if needed! We will be back this summer for sure! Thank you TPG DH!!

Another good stay. Happy Launch service. Numerous walkable restaurants. Biked down to Beavertail, which is a good workout with the hills. Beautiful sunsets.

Overall, this is a very good stop-off, if one wants to avoid the crowds in Newport. The free showers are large and clean, but the the laundry machines should be upgraded (September 2025). The launch captains—they have a free launch service—are all friendly and efficient. This would have been a 4.75-4.90 star review, if the interface allowed.

The water is very clean…perfect for swimming. The launch drivers are very friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms and showers are nice and clean. Plus it’s very quiet. Perfect!

We came in for the Newport Boat Show and stayed on a mooring in dutch harbor. The tenders were easily available, nice walk to the speed ferry, had a beautiful day in Newport. Definitely a do over.

It starts with fast, courteous communication on vhf, a logically-organized/numbered mooring field, followed by a super-clean mooring line (no slime or barnacles!), topped off with fast and friendly launch service that runs until 10:00pm. Could not have asked for more. We’ll be back!

Located along the West Passage of Jamestown, RI, Dutch Harbor is considered one of the last pristine and unspoiled boating locations in Southern New England, with a reputation for the best night's sleep on the Bay. Nestled between Dutch Island and Jamestown, Dutch Harbor Boat Yard is a full service boatyard and mooring field providing the very best in boating service, storage and maintenance.

Our moorings include launch service, WiFi, laundry, indoor and outdoor shower facilities. If you have a large vessel, most likely you will be placed on a mooring at the end of the mooring field and most likely will not have wifi access

The many restaurants and shops of beautiful Jamestown village are less than a mile walk from our facilities.

PLEASE NOTE: Daily dockage is only available Monday - Thursday from 10am-5pm.
