Fantastic spot! Chris the facilities manager is genuine local with a wealth of knowledge, along with his willingness to help in any way. The views are to die for. Great restaurant at the club. I look forward to returning for another stay.

Great stay once again at Sakonnet Point Marina! Chris, and his team, were very helpful! A great final stop on our Long Island Sound cruise. Enjoyed a nice dinner at the club and a walk to the nearby beach.

Pulled in high winds. Very protected. Showers could use a bit more pressure. Dinner was very good at the yacht club.

Very nice spot and facility. Great spot if you need to stop over on your way along the coast, or just want a nice quiet place to go.

Wonderful! Chris the Dock manager along with son helped secure our dock lines and we had a delightful dining experience at the Sakonnet point club. Lots of history in that area, very protected harbor, will definitely return.

Chris the dock manager is the best!
He gave us great directions as we navigated into a beautiful little harbor.
We will be back time and again as we make our way in and out to open sea!

What a beautiful Marina. It was calm and protected, with Beaches in walking distance. The Staff was knowledgeable, professional and amazing. Communication through Dockwa was outstanding. They provided specific slip and tie-up info. This Marina should be a go-to for all boaters!

Very nice people at marina and club. A charming combination of active fishing community and small recreational fleet plus competitive sailing out of Sakonnet YC. Makes for a plan to return often.

Beautiful, peaceful location. Marina is nice but small. Chris and dockhands were great. Club restaurant was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Great location, very scenic. Can be a bit fishy smelling due to the fishing boats coming in to unload. Wasn’t too bad and short lived. From what I saw they provide can’t handle a boat much bigger than ours 42’. Two moorings only and you can’t reserve them.

Chris Brady and his team were very accommodating an inviting-peaceful marina with a great dining option at the Sakonnet Yacht Club which was excellent...nice beach walks!

Facilities were not excellent, as was service from staff. The option to get a guest membership to the club at the marina for excellent dining was a big plus!

So friendly and nice. Will totally go there again when we are in the area. Glad we had the bikes with us! Alittle away from everything but the spot is beautiful

Nice small marina. Great for a one-night stop over. Scenic area for walking or bike rides. Friendly staff. Not so good WiFi. The Sakonnet Point Club is sometimes available to transients for dinner. Very good food, service, and great prices for great food. Extensive menu.

In the summer 2024, Dock Master Chris Brady continues to provide an outstanding level of service and support - THE BEST, 6th year visiting . The crew at the Point club provide a great dining experience, especially appreciated after a long day of sailing, special group of people and location , thank you, the Gallagher's, see you in 2025

We spent 3 days here waiting out the rains and winds that followed hurricane Debbie up the coast. It was a great place to stop.
The dockmaster and his team were extremely helpful. Tying up was easy. On the second day, when 30 mph wind gusts were forecast, the dockmaster recommended reversing the boat so it pointed into the wind. He brought a team down accomplished that without ever completely untying the boat.
The marina is co-located with the private Sakonnet Point Club but $25 gets you a temporary membership for your stay. The heads, showers and pool are then available. All are in good condition. The club’s restaurant is outstanding and definitely worth a visit.

Dock crew met us and assisted with our stern tie on the starboard side. Well protected harbor, which was nice after experiencing a following sea coming in from the east. Secured a one night membership at the private club behind the marina for $25 to use shower and head (pristine!) and the privilege of dinner. The Marina made our reservation. Excellent cocktails and food - we had a lovely table with great views. Our server Spencer enthusiastically welcomed us. Great food and old world ambiance in a club built in 2008. We were comfortable in “business casual” clothes, air conditioning ultimately required an additional layer. Members were well dressed. Great place for a night!
