A great stay at a very nice facility! Super protected from the chaos that is the ICW on the weekends! Friendly, helpful staff welcomed us and made sure that we were comfortably situated. They checked up with us during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything.
We had a couple of vendors come to the boat for maintenance, and there was no drama and no fees.
If you have a vehicle (we stayed 7 days and got a rental), be aware that the hotel charges $55 per day for parking, and there are no other nearby options for overnight. There are many restaurants within walking distance, and a Publix and Whole Foods within about a mile.

The staff is amazing. Allan and Eric are very helpful. They brought my packages directly to the boat! Sthefany helped with all of the arrangements and is very pleasant. One important note is a lack of showers.

Great location. Easy walk to grocery, liquor, laundry mat. Nice pool. Biggest problem no showers especially paying a good price for this dock.

This was our second time at 17th Street. The very protected basin is great, as are the staff members and access to the resort hotel amenities. It more than makes up for no marine fuel or pump out on site. The price is more than reasonable for Fort Lauderdale.

Karen, the dockmaster was the best, she helped us try and find parts we were looking for on our boat and let us stay on the fuel dock, came in late and left early!! the marina had a heated pool, walking to stores and eating establishments!! Karen checked on us the next day, she was the best!!

Very good Dockmaster. The location had the most incompetent boat drivers I’ve ever seen in 60 years of boating. Complete mayhem in the area. Very difficult to pull into the assigned location with so many child-like people driving boats with reckless abandon. The police were doing nothing to stop it.

Easy access from the Intracoastal, nice floating docks, and hotel pool nearby. Dockmaster Allan was courteous and very efficient.

The marina staff is nicely helpful. (Thanks, Alan, for being so accommodating of our requests.) The marina is tucked nicely out of the hustle & bustle, so if you're sleeping onboard, the water will be nice & quiet.
Access to the hotel facilities is nice; it's a pleasant hotel.
There's no marina showers or laundry. We overlooked the fact that there are no showers, laundry facilities, or fuel. (There IS pump-out, though for a small added fee.)
We ended up leaving a day early, after all the hullabaloo we put Alan through on arrival. (We hadn't paid enough attention to weather; and a decent storm was forecast for our day of departure, so we left a day early. Sorry, Alan, that you had to put up with all our "stuff" and then we up and left! No reflection on you or the marina.)
Overall, a place we'd stay at again (and just plan appropriately now that we're aware of all the above).

About 17th Street Yacht Basin
Located at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are the closest marina to the Port Everglades Inlet.
We have 30 interior slips for boats with an LOA up to 89ft and 22ft max beam. The Superyacht Facedock offers 850ft of parallel dockage directly on the Intracoastal Waterway.
As a guest of the marina, you have access to the Hilton Hotel amenities. Including a restaurant/bar (take-out only), pool, fitness center, and ample parking. Convenient access to the beach, Las Olas, restaurants, grocery stores, and shops.
Booking Info
For the winter season, a minimum charge of $200 will apply to all reservations for standard vessels up to 45 feet and a minimum charge of $300 will apply to all reservations for catamaran vessels up to 50 feet.
For the summer season, a minimum charge of $150 will apply to all reservations for standard vessels up to 45 feet and a minimum charge of $220 will apply to all reservations for catamaran vessels up to 45 feet.
