Mystic Downtown Marina

Location is excellent, Dockmaster very helpful and accommodating, view is great, laundry services appreciated and used frequently . Stayed 4 days and loved it. Showers small but clean. If in the area, would definitely want to stay here. Thanks for the everything Bryan!

Mystic Downtown Marina is a wonderful little Marina! It is very well kept very clean and perfectly located. Brian, the dock master/Marina manager does an excellent job of controlling the grounds docks and boaters. The Marina is perfectly situated on the Mystic river with wonderful sunrise and sunset views. While nothing is perfect , This Marina comes close. I would strongly recommend this Marina to anyone looking for a nice getaway. Great place great spot great time, what more can you ask for?

Our visit to Mystic Downtown Marina went off without a hitch. The location is perfect for boat and people watching and easy access to downtown Mystic. Dockmaster Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and even took us for a dingy ride in Old Port Mystic. Another visit and another wonderful time!!! We would highly recommend this marina for location and service.

Great spot and facility in downtown Mystic. Brian is the best… friendly and incredibly helpful. We called to say we’d be limping in later than planned because of a mechanical issue. I asked if he could find us a diver to address the issue. By the time we arrived, he had one lined up. The next morning the diver arrived and Brian took care of the situation while we had to be away for several hours. With the issue addressed, we could continue our cruising plans. Thank you Brian!

Our first time staying here, easy to find easy to get into and out of. Short walk to town. Looking forward to staying here again.

A beautiful location just a couple blocks from downtown. We loved watching the boats go up and down the river. The best part was Brian, who got us settled in and then really helped out with a problem with the boat. He truly went the extra mile to get us the help we needed. A great guy. We’ll be back!

It was our third time staying at Mystic Downtown Marina, but nothing has changed since our last visit in 2020. Our experience with Brian running the place has been exceptional. He has always gone above and beyond to accommodate us and our friends who book their own slips for an enjoyable 4th of July getaway. As a bonus, we also have the pleasure of being next to the friendliest neighbors. We love this marina not only for its magnificent surroundings, but also for its location, which allows us to visit quaint gift shops, a candy shop (my favorite) and 5 star restaurants within two minutes of the marina. All the hype about S&P Oyster Restaurant did not disappoint, everything was phenomenal. Daniel's Packers Inn is also a stone's throw from the marina and is a great choice if you are looking for a more pub-style dining experience. On our first night there, we made use of the patio grilling area. It was the ideal location for our group of eight to enjoy some burgers and dogs. Despite a brief rainstorm, we were able to enjoy our little barbecue. Afterward, a beautiful rainbow appeared, further confirming that we had made the right decision to return to Mystic Downtown Marina.

There are so many reasons why we love visiting Mystic but THIS marina is by far our favorite part. From the moment you arrive the Dockmaster Brian makes you feel right at home. Although we only are able to visit once or twice a year, every time we visit we always feel like we are cherished guests and always feel so fortunate to be able to stay here. The accommodations are 5 stars all around. WiFi, bathrooms, showers, parking, ice access are handled immediately as well as well as the improvements/new things to do and play with on the grounds. Recommendations for things going on and places to try are always on par with what we are looking for. It’s so nice to have some of the inside scoop for things to do (thank you Brian!). The new deck with Adirondack chairs and fire pit make for such a cozy hang out amongst the members and transients after a day out on your feet seeing all the beauty Mystic offers. On more than one occasion we have been greeted with goodies upon our return from dinner. Fresh baked mega sized cookies fresh from the oven, what a spectacular way to make your marina family smile with gratitude 😊 We always look forward to coming back ❤️
