Everything was perfect except we did not have WiFi on the boat. It was out of range for us to enjoy any television or computer apps

The staff and facility was phenomenal. We were in town for a local boating event & they were SO accommodating to our needs. The bathrooms & entire facility were kept very clean during our 4-night stay.
We will definitely be back next year!

Location was beautiful and restaurant was quite good. The overall stay was disappointing as no one answered VHF radio call or the office phone regarding slip assignment, nor were there any dockhands to assist in docking. The "amenity fee" of $125 (for even one night stay) was out of line given the heated pool being very small and principally occupied by what seemed to be a daycare group, or a large number of young children each day. There was a public bathroom (toilet) available 24/7, however the nice shower facilities had limited opening hours, so if you were an early riser or like to take a shower later in the evening, you were out of luck. The Harborage provides more services without the amenity fee than Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club.

This was our first year, with a new boat docking for the summer at Sommerset and it exceeded our expectations. We were reluctant to make a change after years at downtown marina but it was well worth it.

Awesome place. All staff is A+. Restaurant and bar is a great atmosphere. Love hanging out. Marina is very clean and well run. Highly recommend to all.

The marina is perfectly located on the lake, and the facilities are beautiful. Staff is all very helpful, courteous and professional. They welcome us back each year, and we’re very grateful for the family feel they provide. Restaurant upstairs is excellent too! Best marina on Lake Charlevoix for sure.

It's always a great stay at Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club and Marina. It's a clean and beautiful setting. The club house offers a nice menu for lunch and dinner depending on the schedule. The staff is helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed a five day stay at Sommerset Pointe Yacht Club, boating, swimming, playing in the sand. The staff was so helpful and pleasant. We'll see you again next year. Tharapee '89

Great marina and restaurant! Only suggestion is spraying weekly for spiders. They were heavy this year.

Somerset is a great location in Lake Charlevoix. It has great amentities like a Pool, Gym, Restaurant and atmosphere.

This was the last stop on our upper Michigan tour. The whole country is under staffed, but they did a great job! Communication was great. Hosted an extended family dinner in the restaurant that was excellent. We are already planning to come back next summer!

Sommerset Pointe was an enjoyable stop for us on our Great Loop trip. We had a slip in the calm harbor with a great view of Lake Charlevoix. Peter was very helpful in getting us settled & acquainted with the area. We enjoyed a fine dinner at the club restaurant. The pool was a refresher on a warm day. Sommerset Pointe is a easy bike or dinghy ride to Boyne City where we enjoyed good restaurants, fun shopping & a fine organic food store.

We felt like the marina was very inadequate. No services. No restaurant no bar garbage overflowing no one to talk too poor management for sure. New dock is very nice but no numbers so good luck guessing where you need park.

I was in town for the Boyne thunder poker run. I used Dockwa to make a reservation and was very satisfied. The marina is absolutely beautiful and the staff was accommodating.

Summerset tells you to use Dockwa for online reservations but doesn't respond to confirm. Not very good customer service, especially if they want transient boaters.
