In the past, the Fall Brawl experience at E 55th Street Marina was stellar. This year, we had a few annoying hiccups. First of all, the exit gate was left open wide open for large tracks of time. Sometimes an entire weekend, many times overnight. This certainly made us feel our expensive fishing gear and electronics were at risk. Secondly, the heated restrooms were one of the best features. The restrooms were locked more than a week before the tournament ended. this was a bid negative.

I'm from Cuyahoga County! I've been coming to the area for fishing, socializing, cooking etc most of my life. Just recently I've returned to Cleveland. As a senior citizen, I was totally shocked to find the restrooms closed for the season. What Season would shut down the rest rooms while tax payer are trying to enjoy the Moment! Please inform the people who are there every day fishing etc. And where do these people resided who make such decisions? We have a right to the Public Restroom and are all the the restrooms closed on the Entire Lake Area? ( Edgewater etc. Surely this needs to be Investigated! Where are the rights of the people? So, while fishing should we run home to urinate then drive back to continue. Please inform the people when this Decision was made. We are waiting for a response!!! Aminah Sabur

Great season. The only issues was the number of parking passes for the Air Show. Last year 3 parking passes per slip created not enough parking. This year they went to 1 parking pass and there were open spots all weekend. That is a wasted opportunity to use the marina by more people so hoping they'll go to 2 passes per slip next year.

The entire facility is top notch. Other boaters are friendly and helpful. Great place

Very well protected marina behind double break wall. Nice floating docks. Facilities currently in transition. The old marina building/store/bait shop/restaurant were torn down & the new sailing center is under construction. New facilities will be beautiful and should become available during the upcoming season.

marinas amenities are lacking, old, need updated. the playground and fire pit were removed and not replaced with anything. the only nice thing about the marina is the picnic pavilion. gate is always broken, serious security issue. bathroom are horrible and out of service a lot, I think it's ridiculous to have to use portapotties half of the summer .

Lack of restaurant hours lack of gas stock hours. Maintenance to Dock not so well popping fuses with no response. Prices are increasing with no explanation when services are going down.

I leased a slip for the season 2025 at East 55th Street Marina in Cleveland. It is now October 15th. This was a most enjoyable experience. The marina is professionally staffed and maintained. Fuel attendants are most courteous and helpful. August and Nick are typically available and knowledgeable. I have already signed up for summer 2026.

We very much enjoyed our second year at the Marina, I only have a couple of concerns that I feel compelled to share. 1. The fish cleaning station is great and we appreciate the garbage bags that are availble to dispose of the fish carcases. Its not clear who is providing the bags and the soap/bleach and would like to know if that was provided by the marina or a generous member? I think overall the users of this do a decent job of keeping it clean. However I think the methods of the 5 gallon pail with a garbage bag is mediocre and would like to see something more substantial to allow for members utilize and keep the area clean. 2. The end of the docs appear to have a subtantial amount of birds depositing waste onto boats and the docs. Does the Marina provide any controls for this ? it seems to be getting worse.

It’s seems to be going the wrong way! Clearness / service / dock maintenance. I was worried about security this year. A lot of people in the marina that did not belong.

Under construction

The marina is a little tired and a long way from provisions. They were out of ice for two days and it is a mile walk to the nearest location for ice. The staff was very pleasant.

Very accommodating. A great experience

Not a good experience. No power (not the marina’s fault), but duck poo completely covering the dock (T head on A dock), nobody there to greet us at 6pm after instructions to check in at the gas dock (half mile walk), dock boards with exposed screws coming up. It took me a half hour of cleanup to make dock useable.
