It's a great stop off point on a cruise. Not a destination type resort marina. No nearby town. But. The restaurant Salt is outstanding. It's an old Marina. Nice small pool. Courteous staff. Plus fair price

Restroom near dock closed. Had to walk a long distance to the working one and the laundry room. And I mean a long way. Laundry was also $3.75 a load. They also charge a 3% credit card fee for reservations. Manager was unpleasant to talk with. Was gonna stay 2 nights but did get a refund for 2nt night. We moved in bad weather just to not stay here.

Staff are super accommodating and always available and will to help ! The transient dock is easily accessed with power and water if needed. A great resturant only steps away. This is our go to marina on the mouth of the Potomac. Quiet and pleasant.

Good marina, well protected and I believe under new management. Very good restaurant on site with delicious crab soup. Bathroom facilities need some work and are located right next to resturant and open to public so taking a shower in the evening not ideal. Did find another facility just a short walk up the hill. Folks were super nice and helpful. Nice place to see a great sunset.

Great location, on the Potomac River, very close to the Chesapeake Bay. Perfect stopping off point. Awesome restaurant on site too.

Well protected and quiet dock early in the week late October. Had a good meal down the street and looked to have other restaurants probably open around weekends or in the summer. Would stay here again

Friendly, beautiful accommodations! We arrived after hours and the other boaters at the marina were happy to help with dock lines and providing information about the marina. IF you stay at Point Lookout Marina you MUST eat at "The Salt" which is across the parking lot - Amazing food, great atmosphere and friendly people!

Lovely stay. Facilities and staff were great; washrooms pristine. The onsite restaurant was a treat. Definitely recommend. Only downside was that the pumpout was out of order at this time.

Point Lookout Marina is a great place to stop before proceeding up the Potomac. Transient Dock was perfectly adequate. The restaurant was outstanding. The rest represents what it is, a remote fishing area. We felt very safe and comfortable. There just isn’t anything around except the restaurant.

The employees were friendly and courteous. The facility needs a lot of work. We stayed on their long "T" dock which looks like it can hold 5 boats. Our dock assignment gave us a number but there were no numbers visible when we approached or even on the dock. The chafe protection on the pilings is missing or badly worn. There is no usable internet service. Despite having a signal and trying at several locations no connection could be made. This even occurred at 5:00 in the morning when there would not have been any users. The restrooms are in terrible condition and had run out of toilet paper.

Julia the dochmaster was so friendly and helpful. We took on diesel and then went to the layalong for night. Restaurant was closed on Monday so we were not able to eat there. We thought the marina was nice and would definitely go back.

This is our regular stop on the way out of the Potomac to the Chesapeake. Great staff, really nice restaurant, easy docking on the A dock for transients. The parking lot is a bit dusty and could use some additional gravel, but, otherwise a perfect marina. We're even considering moving there for an annual slip next year.

Nice marina. Ticked many “boxes”. Very remote, but Instacart found us and had great options. On-site restaurant was good. Overall the place could use a spruce-up, but the $ rate is good for what’s there. Parking area could use several loads of fresh stone to keep walking a bit cleaner. Local fisherman don’t understand “no-wake” hence be mindful of piling height and potential of catching piling top on your yacht while you’re rocking.

Very nice marina - lovely pool which we enjoyed immensely. The onsite restaurant wasn't open so we walked to a "stepping back in time experience" at Courtney's restaurant. Marina staff were excellent. My complaint, with marinas on this trip, were the bathrooms. Not clean, trash hadn't been emptied in a while - very disappointing. However, I would stay there again.

Nice marina with friendly staff. They have a long transient dock that accommodates large vessels and catamarans. Pump out was not working and they were out of diesel. Stayed 2 nights and used laundry. Washers and dryers very nice and you can pay with app and monitor status on your phone. Verizon cell service is weak but usable.

Full service 7 pier marina with Fuel, boat ramp, Restaurant and Pool on premises. Polite and Knowledgeable staff ready to assist. Quite appealing location .. We encourage you to come visit also!

About Point Lookout Marina

Point Lookout Marina is located in the quiet little town of Ridge, Maryland. Our restaurant, Salt Waterfront Kitchen, offers a hidden gem with weekly specials. Our full-service maintenance shop is open 6 days a week for your boating needs and the fuel dock is open 7 days a week (Spring and Summer). Our shop staff is ABYC trained and can provide mechanical and technical systems repair, fiberglass work, woodworking repairs, electrical, hull and bottom painting, as well brightwork. The swimming pool opens Memorial Day weekend and closes just after Labor Day weekend. We hope to see you this year!
